(ECNS) -- A renovated smart tourist center was put into operation in the Summer Palace in Beijing on Sunday.
It is a comprehensive service and reception area integrating tourist consultation, volunteer service, image display, self-service enquiry, convenience services, among others.
It also serves as a smart tourism service center for park management to display and analyze big data, conduct emergency command and exhibitions, etc.
The service hall on the west part provides face-to-face consultation for tourists.
It is equipped with a mother-and-baby room, tables and chairs for rest, and also provides rental services for convenience facilities such as baby carriages and wheelchairs.
The east part is divided into eight sections, including the introduction to the Summer Palace, maps of the scenic area, services and cultural and creative products, so that tourists could inquire information on their own.
Tourists can also use vending machines, shared portable chargers, interpreters, selfie sticks, portable fans and other products here.
In addition, robots at the center will answer consultation calls so as to shorten the waiting time and better solve tourists' concerns.
