(ECNS) -- 5G and Internet of Things have facilitated the digitalization and informatization of the mobile machinery intelligent control center at the Changxing Island Base of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC).
On the one hand, the system integrating 5G and big data can intelligently analyze the mass production and logistics data and then automatically search and match the nearest equipment and the most skilled personnel, so as to realize equipment utilization and reduce human errors, said Xie Xumin, manager of the Changxing Island Base.
On the other hand, personnel authentication and standardized operation can be realized by collecting, analyzing and processing real-time images of high reliability and low delay relying on the ultra-large bandwidth of 5G, Xie added.
The use of 5G and Internet of Things technologies have greatly reduced costs in various procedures. Staff without effective certificate or unauthorized can't operate our vehicles even they get keys.
Only authorized people can operate our vehicles, which has solved safety problems potentially caused by unauthorized people.
Shared information among different links and visible logistics benefited from 5G and Internet of Things makes the daily operation of the company safe and effective.
