34-meter-long painting recreates prosperity of ancient Silk Road

(ECNS) -- A large Chinese painting was exhibited at the concert hall of Northwest Normal University in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, to celebrate the upcoming 120th anniversary of the university.

The 34 meters long, 1.4 meters high painting recreates the magnificent and prosperous scene of the ancient Silk Road.

Donated by Mo Jiancheng, honorary chairman of the Gansu Artists Association, the painting cost more than 10 artists two years to complete it.

Northwest Normal University was founded in 1902.
