Last key rotor of Baihetan Hydropower Station installed

(ECNS) -- The rotor of No. 9 generating unit of Baihetan Hydropower Station was installed on Sunday.

So far, all 16 hydro-generating units have been installed, laying a foundation for the full operation of the hydropower station in July next year.

Located on the upstream branch of China's Yangtze River, the Baihetan Hydropower Station straddles southwest China's Yunnan and Sichuan provinces.
