(ECNS) -- The west section of Beijing's Metro Line 11, the "Winter Olympics" line, will open at the end of this month.
The 4.2-kilometer metro line has four underground stations.
Three stations, including two transfer stations, will be operational later this month.
The terminal station will be around 800 meters from the Ski Jumping Platform in west Beijing.
Metro trains running on the line are adorned with Winter Olympic mascots "Bing Dwen Dwen" and "Shuey Rhon Rhon."
An animation for the 2022 Winter Olympics can be seen on screens inside the carriage.
Roof lighting in the train carriages is created by snowflake-shaped lights.
The anthem, slogan and mascots of the 2022 Winter Olympics are placed on both sides of the carriage, giving passengers an immersive Winter Olympics experience.
