(ECNS) -- The first batch of 137 Winter Olympics volunteers from the Beijing University of Science and Technology began training at Wukesong Sports Center on Thursday.
The training aims to familiarize volunteers with rules and regulations, locations of service stations and epidemic prevention zones, individual codes of conduct, and reception etiquette.
A total of 660 volunteers have been registered to provide reception services at Wukesong Sports Center.
They were selected from over 10 universities and medical institutions in Beijing.
These volunteers will provide services in 20 fields, covering sports events, medical services, and others.
Wukesong Sports Center will host 29 ice hockey games during the 2022 Winter Olympics.
