(ECNS)-- The 8th "Pole of Cold" Ice and Snow Season kicked off on Monday in China's coldest city Genhe, known as the country's "Pole of Cold" in the northernmost tip of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Visitors flocked to the activities despite the local temperature falling to minus 40 degrees Celsius. Tourists rode on reindeer sleds, participated in the "splashing-water-into-ice" activity, and enjoyed hot pot. Painting amateurs decorated the snow-covered land with their awesome inspirations.
