(ECNS) -- Embroiderers in Qingyang, Gansu Province are sewing various kinds of sachets using cloth and yarn to welcome the upcoming the Year of the Tiger.
The sachet, one of Gansu Province's Intangible Cultural Heritages, is a local cultural symbol.
They also sew other auspicious handicrafts, including red envelopes, pillows, and shoes—all featuring tigers.
Zhao Lijun, a 51-year-old intangible heritage inheritor, has redesigned her embroidery to create the tiger-themed products.
Exquisite embroidery handicrafts are everywhere in Zhao's store, thickening the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year.
