(ECNS) -- The first bonded store for imported goods carried by China-Europe freight trains opened at Fuzhou Railway Station on Tuesday in Fuzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province.
About 1,200 units, including 200 types of goods, are on the shelves, ranging from beauty products to candy and drinks. Unlike commonly imported commodity stores, more than 70% of the goods in this store arrived by China-Europe freight trains.
As of the beginning of 2022, China-Europe freight trains have made more than 50,000 trips, connecting more than 180 cities in 23 European countries with China. They have served as a crucial channel for commodity exchanges between Europe and Asia.
The bonded store for imported goods extends the benefits of the China-Europe railway express. The China-Europe freight trains bring high-quality commodities from all over the world to China. The commodities are under full supervision during the whole process, from their arrival at the port to their purchase by consumers. All goods sold in the store can be tracked and traced throughout the whole process, and customers can identify authenticity by simply scanning a QR code.
In addition, the store has also built an online platform, allowing one-click ordering. Tourists can enjoy the convenience of in-store shopping or home delivery.
