(ECNS) -- A 140km/h bullet train officially rolled off production line in Tangshan, north China's Hebei Province on Wednesday.
It is China's first suburban railway project funded via public-private partnership (PPP), with the private sector having a holding status.
The train is designed with 15 stops, including seven underground and eight elevated stations.
The maximum passenger capacity of the train is 1,045 people.
It features a light weight, high temperature resistance, quick start, and comfortable ride.
The Taizhou commuter-rail Line S1 project is led by CRRC Corporation Limited and undertaken by CRRC TANGSHAN CO.,LTD.
