Pakistani man volunteers for pandemic control in Shanghai

(ECNS) -- Habib Ur Rehman, a young man from Pakistan, has devoted himself to local pandemic prevention and control efforts in Shanghai.

With a good command of both English and Chinese, he volunteered for the work team in Changning District, home to a large expat community. During his work, he would patiently remind residents to scan QR codes and queue properly. Rehman has been living in Shanghai for almost 13 years, and fallen in love with the metropolis. He wants to do his bit for the city, he said.
