(ECNS) -- Footprints of wild Siberian tigers were spotted again at Chaoyanggou Forest Farm at Northeast Tiger Leopard National Park in Dongning City, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
The paws of the footprint are about 12 centimeter each, through which experts judged that they belong to an adult male wild Siberian tiger, weighing about 150 kg. Experts guessed that the Siberian tiger was hunting for food at the time.
Wild Siberian tigers have frequently appeared at Chaoyanggou Forest Farm in spring in recent years. The reason should be melting of ice and snow, which makes it convenient for wild animals to hunt for food. Another reason may be that Siberian tigers are trying to expand new territory.
