Peacocks try to impress partners with mating dance at Chongqing zoo

(ECNS) -- Peacocks were captured spreading their tail feathers at a zoo in Fuling district, Southwest China's Chongqing city on Tuesday.

During the mating season, male peacocks spread their tail feathers to attract peahens. The more attractive the display, the more the chances for them to mate.

The first week in April is the Bird Loving Week in Chongqing.
