(ECNS) -- A paper introducing 120-million-year-old fossils of the trechnotherian mammal Lactodens from the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota was jointly published by Mao Fangyuan from China's Institute of Vertebrate paleontology and paleoanthropology and Meng Jin from American Museum of Natural History on Acta Palaeontologica Polonica.
The paper has great implications for mammal evolution study.
