(ECNS) -- A kite themed on China's Tiangong space station was successfully flown at a coastal kite flying field in Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Weifang, Shandong Province on Sunday.
This kite cost more than 20 craftsmen over two months. It was made to celebrate the return of Chinese astronauts from space.
The whole length of the kite is more than 160 meters, with its main part shaped to the Tiangong space station in a reduced proportion.
The width of the main body is 3.5 meters, the longitudinal length is about 8 meters, and the height is 3.5 meters.
It has vividly shown the scenes of Shenzhou-13 spacecraft docking with the Tiangong space station and taikonauts' extravehicular activities.
