(ECNS) -- Two robots were used in a Shanghai neighborhood under COVID-19 prevention and control management to help transport living materials. This neighborhood in Pudong District has 52 buildings of more than 2,000 households.
Volunteers here have been working nearly a month to distribute living materials since mid-March.
To lessen the burden of volunteers, the property management company of this neighborhood asked a robot enterprise in Shanghai for help.
Then two robots shouldering material delivery were employed in this neighborhood under the guidance of engineers.
Both the two robots can work for six to eight consecutive hours and deliver about 100 kilograms of goods at a time.
