Young man in SW China's Chengdu paints lane for girlfriend

(ECNS) -- A young man in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan, has painted an old lane for his girlfriend to enjoy on her way to work every day.

It took him more than two months to paint the patterns, which include giant pandas and tigers and teenagers. The paintings cover more than 10 walls of the path, attracting citizens to take photos.

His creation has won support from local communities.

The young man hopes to create a warm and lovely commuting environment for his girlfriend because she is afraid of the dark. He also wants to bring happiness to people passing by.
