(ECNS) -- 95-year-old Wang Huanqing from Lishui has created amazing clip art with waste newspaper and advertising posters.
Traditional Chinese culture is the theme of this work. "The peacock symbolizes happiness and auspiciousness, the dove is an emblem of peace, while the peony flower signifies wealth.
These animals and plants all have auspicious meanings in traditional Chinese culture, representing Chinese people's yearning for a better life," said Wang.
Wang spent about half a year to collect used materials that she subtly combines into an artwork both ornamental and environmentally friendly.
Wang is a member of China Artists Association.
