(ECNS) -- Thirty-six passengers were reported slightly injured after a plane skipped off the runway at the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on Thursday, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Southwest Regional Administration.
The flight TV9833, operated by Tibet Airlines, was heading to Nyingchi, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, when it took off and ran off the runway at 8:09 a.m.
All 113 passengers and 9 crew members have been evacuated already.
Further investigation into the accident is underway.
