Stranded finless porpoise rescued in Yangtze River

(ECNS) -- An around 40-centimeter-long finless porpoise was stranded in the shallow water at the Nanyangzhou coast of the Yueyang Linxiang section of the Yangtze River in Hunan Province on Saturday.

Rescuers rushed to the scene and found the little creature in good shape, so they gently pushed it into deep water. But it was pushed back by waves to the shallow water again due to the strong wind.

After around 30 minutes, the finless porpoise swam into the deep water with the help of rescuers.
