(ECNS) -- Eighteen pets were released on Tuesday from a care center set up for animals who were exposed to COVID-19.
The care center was established on Laoximen Street, Huangpu District in early May.
It was responsible for receiving and taking care of pets whose owners were diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19.
Zhai Jiang, director of the pet care center, said a total of 18 pets were released from the center today. Over a dozen dogs and around seven cats are still waiting for their owners, who haven't recovered from COVID-19 yet. These are some gifts we have prepared for the pets, wishing them safe and happy.
