Video captures funny moment of giraffe kissing tortoise

(ECNS) -- A video clip captured a funny moment when a giraffe kissed a Sulcata tortoise in a wildlife park in Jiangsu Province, China on Tuesday.

Staff members in the wildlife park carried a Sulcata tortoise to the grass around the giraffe pavilion to bask in the sun. At that moment, a giraffe standing in the distance saw it and quickly came up out of curiosity.

Unexpectedly, the giraffe put out its tongue to kiss the tortoise. At this time, the camera captured this rare and loving moment. It turned out that the friendship between the two has lasted for two years.

Every year, in late spring and early summer, keepers will put the Sulcata tortoise in the sun.

A giraffe started to observe the tortoise out of curiosity. After some time, the giraffe dropped its guard and spent the rest of the day playing with the tortoise, except for eating. Gradually they became the closest friends. After a long winter, the giraffe still recognized its old friend at first sight.
