(ECNS) -- As the epidemic situation in Shanghai improves, canteens for the elderly have been resuming business, offering take-away services to meet the need for the elderly.
A community canteen for the elderly in Pudong suspended operations during the epidemic and did not open until early June.
The canteen provides three meals a day. Handmade buns and fried buns are favoured by the elderly. Since dine-in is not yet available, the canteen thoughtfully prepared raw wontons for them.
For elderly customers who do not have phones or do not know how to use them, or for those who cannot provide 72-hour proof of nucleic acid, the canteen staff will help them buy meals on their behalf.
