(ECNS) – A giant water lily in Qingxiushan Scenic Spot in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has grown up to 2.18 meters in diameter and can hold 75 kilograms.
Giant water lily, a typical tropical plant, is native to the Amazon basin in South America.
The edge of its leaves curls upward, like a large emerald plate floating on the water. Its special vein structure facilitates it to bear weight.
