(ECNS) -- Divers have taken pallets full of seagrass seedlings down into the deep sea and planted them on the sea bed for seagrass restoration in the waters near Dongchu Island, Rongcheng City, east China's Shandong Province.
The Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute (YSFRI) manually cultivates the collected seagrass seeds onshore, and then transplant the well-cultivated seagrasses onto the seabed after the seagrass grows to certain sizes.
