(ECNS) -- The 2022 Calgary Stampede was held from July 8 to 17 in Calgary, Canada.
Numbers show the first full event since 2019 reached near pre-pandemic attendance levels.
A series of competitions and rodeos were held during the festival. A group of cowboys showed their skills and courage in the horse training performances.
Final figures released online Monday indicated that 1.2 million people came out to this year's Stampede. A scaled-back Stampede last year attracted nearly 529,000 people.
The Calgary Stampede has a history of more than one hundred years and is one of the largest cultural events in the region.
