Potala Palace temporarily closed after COVID-19 reported in Tibet

(ECNS) -- Tibet Autonomous Region's famed Potala Palace has been temporarily closed from Tuesday, with a reopening date to be announced later. The Potala Palace Square remains open for the visitors.

A total of 828 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported in the Chinese mainland on Tuesday, with 22 of them in Tibet.
