(ECNS) -- A YU-20 aerial tanker was unveiled at Changchun Airshow in Northeast China's Jilin Province on Friday.
The event displayed the latest equipment used by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force.
Warplanes in the "20 family", including the J-20 stealth fighter and Y-20 large transport aircraft, attended the performance.
YU-20 aerial tanker made a static display to the public for the first time.
"In the past decade, we have developed a type of major equipment represented by J-20, Y-20, Z-20 and deployed them to the air force," said Deng Youming, head of Air Force test flight bureau and test pilot.
"The test flight of Y-20 showed the world the 'China speed.' The domestic large transport aircraft was deployed in the troops three years after its first flight," he added.
In addition, Chinese PLA Air Force performed Parachute jumping at the show.
