(ECNS) -- Two Chinese boats themed on Nanjing City made their debut at the Netherlands' time-honored Festival "Night of Gondolas", showing Nanjing's historical and cultural sites to more than ten thousand European tourists.
Chinese artists dressed in traditional costumes, singing the folk songs "Jasmine Flower", "How Rare The Moon", and "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" in one boat. The other boat was decorated with elements of Nanjing City's landmark "the Porcelain Tower and butterflies".
Nanjing, home to one of the world's largest inland ports, is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been a major center of culture, education, economy, transport networks and tourism in East China, enjoying peace and prosperity despite wars and disasters.
