(ECNS) -- A pair of giant panda cubs made their debut on Saturday at Chongqing Zoo in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
"The giant panda Ershun gave birth to twin cubs on July 22 this year," said Yin Yanqiang, technical director of giant panda house of Chongqing Zoo.
"At present, the male cub weighs 4,352 grams, and the female weighs 3,604 grams.They are in good condition, and are 70 days old," Yin added.
Born in August 2007, their mother Ershun lived in Canada's Toronto Zoo and Calgary Zoo as a goodwill envoy between March 2013 and November 2020.
Ershun had succeeded in natural mating with a male panda at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan Province in March.
