Follow President Xi's local intangible cultural heritage journey

(ECNS) -- Various items of intangible cultural heritage are the fruit of Chinese wisdom and civilization. After so many years, they glow with vitality in modern life. 

President Xi Jinping spoke highly of local intangible cultural heritages such as West Lake Longjing Tea, Luosifen and Jiaya Tibetan Carpets while visiting Zhejiang, Guangxi and Qinghai.

"We should step up the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, and make proactive efforts to train the next generation of preservers who will carry on the legacy and make it prosper," Xi said.
