It is one of the top 10 supercomputing centers in the world, with a maximum computing speed of 100 quadrillion calculations per second.
Since it was put into operation in 2020, the center has provided computing services for more than 760 users in 35 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chongqing, covering multiple fields such as aerospace, equipment manufacturing, innovative materials, and artificial intelligence.
Its services involve 13 major national scientific and technological infrastructure projects and programs, including the high-altitude cosmic ray observation station.
