(ECNS) -- Residents in Changchun, Jilin Province started storing autumn vegetables on weekends for the coming winter.
Trucks loaded with green onions and cabbages stopped at the designated area on the streets. Residents shuttled among vegetable stalls and picked out vegetables. The autumn vegetables on stalls mainly include Chinese cabbage, radish, green onions, and potatoes.
Autumn vegetables in China refer to vegetables harvested in autumn, and storing autumn vegetables is a habit for people living in northeast China.
It is understood that this year's autumn vegetables will be listed from October 1 to October 25 in Changchun, with a period of 25 days.
