China's first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Charging Station has been put into operation in Ningde City, located in southwest China's Fujian Province. The station combines energy storage, electric vehicle charging, and electric vehicle testing service together.
There have been over ten million new energy vehicles (NEV) in China by June 2022, according to the Ministry of Public Security. The operation of the BESS Super Charging Station will be able to bring users charging services that are safer, more intelligent, convenient, and considerate.
The power station can meet the charging needs of twenty vehicles at the same time. It takes about seven or eight minutes to guarantee the endurance of more than 200 km, according to the head of the Ningde Lithium-ion Battery Town.
