Lusail Stadium, the main arena of the coming 2022 World Cup Qatar, was built by Chinese construction enterprises. The construction of it started on November 21, 2016, and its main part was completed on September 30, 2021.
Inspired by Qatar's traditional fanar lanterns and hand-crafted bowls, the stadium is bowl-shaped overall but with a saddle-shaped roof and a golden hyperboloid aluminum curtain wall, which looks like a "big golden bowl" from afar.
Lusail Stadium will host ten highlighting matches, including the 2022 World Cup Final.
