The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government announced Tuesday that further relaxation of social distancing measures will be made from December 22, including lifting the restriction on capacity for catering premises and banquets.
Customers will no longer need to show negative results of COVID-19 rapid tests to enter bars and banquets. People are allowed to eat and drink in outdoor areas of public entertainment, sports venues and event premises. Relevant requirements on the Vaccine Pass and mask-wearing will be maintained.
