At the entrance of Beijing Railway Station, passengers pass through the security check only by scanning their ID cards. Many travelers said the new policy has made their trips more convenient.
People are no longer required to provide negative results from nucleic acid tests or health codes in order to enter Beijing. People won't be asked to take three nucleic acid tests daily after their arrival in the city, either.
The number of passengers in the waiting lounge also increased significantly. Most of the passengers wore N95 masks, while some others wore gloves and isolation masks.
