The idea of Chinese consumption driving the economy and also attracting investment is the essence of this Dual-Circulation economic strategy that China has adopted, says Einar Tangen, content advisor at Taihe Institute.
"China is carving out its niche and it's continuing to try to be more efficient. And you've seen this in all of the Five-Year-Plans and all of the economic things that the government puts out," he said
"China clearly knows that to be competitive worldwide, it needs to be the most efficient producer and it continues to do that with cluster development. So post-COVID, I do think that China will have a very sharp V recovery," he added.
