Tibet offers free entry to scenic spots for winter tourism

A new round of Winter Tour Campaign started on Sunday in Tibet Autonomous Region to attract more tourists in the winter time, with a series of supportive policies launched by the region.

Tickets to visit the Potala Palace in Lhasa and other scenic sites in the region are free.

Visitors only need to show their IDs for entry during the period. The campaign will run until March 15, according to the regional department of tourism development.
