Travel agencies well prepared for resumption of outbound group tours

As the resumption of outbound group tours is approaching, many travel companies have announced their plans for the first batch of outbound group tours. Thailand has become a popular destination.

Chinese travel agencies and online travel companies will resume pilot outbound group tours to a total of 20 countries starting from Feb. 6, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced in January 2023.

In addition to Thailand, the pilot countries include Indonesia, Cambodia and the Maldives. In order to meet the needs of tourists, travel companies have also begun to release and launch products, contact with qualified overseas partners to optimize travel products.

The resumption of outbound group tours is significant for promoting the resumption of tourism development.
