The 39th Munao Zongge Festival was held on Sunday in Longchuan County, Dehong, southwest China's Yunnan Province. More than 10,000 people danced with the drums to celebrate the festival.
With the loud sound of gongs and drums and passionate music, people dressed in festive costumes and guests at home and abroad entered the Munao Zongge Hall in an orderly manner.
The dance team is like two long dragons winding and swinging. Dubbed "dance of paradise" and "mass revelry dance," the Munao Zongge is the greatest traditional festival of the Jingpo ethnic group.
In 2006, the Munao Zongge Festival for the Jingpo people was included in the first batch of the national intangible cultural heritage list.
