(ECNS) -- Being stuck in the middle-income and "middle power" trap, Japan is so dependent on the U.S. that it's unable to actualize an independent foreign policy, said Prof. Josef Mahoney, Professor at ECNU. He added that the U.S. is encouraging Japanese militarization in part to provoke China.
