Located on the China-Russia border, Heihe Port resumed customs clearance service in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Wednesday, after nearly three years of suspension. The first batch of 20 passengers entered China from the port.
Heilongjiang River on the China-Russia border was in its six-month frozen period. Inbound passengers need to cross the border river by hovercraft, and then take ferry from the pier to the destination.
Heihe Port will gradually resume normal personnel exchanges and customs clearance between China and Russia.
