An ancient Saucer Magnolia tree (Magnolia Soulangeana) of more than four hundred years blossomed at the Wuhou Temple in Mian County, Hanzhong, northwest China's Shaanxi Province. It is the only one found in the world.
It is said that the ancient Chinese planted it in memory of Zhuge Liang, a military strategist of the Shu Kingdom (221-263), in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
