A necklace worth 30 million yuan ($ 4.35 million) from Chinese jewelry brand GAONAS was on display for the first time at the third China International Consumer Products Expo (CICP) in Haikou City, south China's Hainan Province on Tuesday.
The necklace, inlaid with ceramic chips and sapphires, took the brand the whole year to make.
The name of the necklace, which seemed like a waterfall, came from the famous Chinese poem "the height of the waterfall seems to be thousands of feet, just like that the Milky Way falls from the sky to the cliff" in the poetry 'Watching the Lushan Waterfall' written by Li Bai, according to Zhang Lina, the founder of the brand.
