A BES-HV waist exoskeleton robot was exhibited at the third China International Consumer Products Expo in Haikou, capital city of south China's Hainan Province on Friday.
The maximum power of the robot reaches 30 kilogram, while the full speed of the walking aid can reach 7.5 km/h, which allows users to reduce the burden by more than 60 percent.
It is mainly used for industrial manufacturing and logistics scenarios, such as bending, posture maintenance, and walking aid.
According to Liu Kaimin, regional manager of ULS Robotics in South China, the product uses sensors to capture the intentions of people's limbs. It helps users reduce their burden through system algorithms and motion control. In addition, it can replace human waist output and prevent work injury to a certain extent.
