To stimulate the post-pandemic economy and support the development of Hong Kong tourism, the HKSAR government will launch more than a dozen activities themed "Happy Hong Kong" starting on Saturday, said Paul Chan, the Financial Secretary of the HKSAR government, at a news conference on Monday.
A series of large-scale food fairs will be held across the HKSAR from April to the end of June. Besides, film lovers can watch movies with only HK$30 tickets on Saturday.
One highlight of the "Happy Hong Kong" campaign is the "Harbor Chill Festival" organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, said Dane Cheng, HKTB Executive Director.
The "Harbor Chill Festival" is a summer carnival staged on Victoria Harbour. It will bring cultural, artistic, and sports performances from around the world. The event will be held on five consecutive weekends starting from July 8 and will be open to all members of the public for free.
