Ploughing festival celebrated in S China's Guangxi

Local villagers in Longji Town of Longsheng, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held their traditional ploughing festival in Longsheng rice terraced fields on Monday. 　

By the terraced fields,　local villagers performed　folk music and dance. They also served their home-made wine with a bamboo cup to the guests during the festival.

Villagers carried out farming activities, including ploughing, weeding and catching fish in terraced fields to celebrate the festival. Tourists participated in the activities and enjoyed the magnificent scenery of the Longji terraced fields.
