The Xiamen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection on Monday resumed quick customs clearance procedure at the "Three direct links" ports on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The process is more optimized, and personnel exchanges between the two sides are smoother.
"Three direct links," which refer to direct mail, transport, and trade links across the Taiwan Strait, have facilitated the flow of people, goods and capital.
After learning about the resumption of quick customs clearance, passengers from Taiwan went through the e-channel for immediate inspection and information collection at Xiamen Wutong Ferry Terminal.
It is reported that at Xiamen Wutong Passenger Terminal, 22 e-channels have been set up at the exit and entry border inspection station, including 10 exit channels and 12 entry channels, which will greatly shorten the clearance time of exit and entry after the restoration.
