Spanish-language teacher from Cuba: China treats me like a son

(ECNS) -- A boy accidentally fell into the water in Changping district, Beijing on April 30, and a woman who tried to rescue him was also trapped in the water. Liuban Lopez, from Cuba, immediately jumped into the water and pulled both of them to safety. 　

Lopez left quietly after the boy and the woman were safe. The Spanish-language teacher who works at China Foreign Affairs University has been living in China for 14 years. He told China News Network that he is very happy living in China because the country treats him like a son.
